The result of the interpolation tests for Inverse Distance Weighted (1st and 2nd power), Ordinary Kriging, Universal Kriging (1st and 2nd degree), and Cokriging are presented in Tables 7 & 8. The Geostatistical analyst algorithm minimized the errors to a greater degree (lower MSE), but did not produce more accurate estimations than Flores-Garnica (2001). Overall, the assumption of spatial continuity and the application of Kriging methods did not improve upon the fuel volume predictions from IDW. Flores-Garnica (2001) reached the same conclusion.
