In the not too distant past I was a research geologist.  Since I was not on the fast track to anything exceptional, I stepped off the track to ‘smell the roses’ and pursue my longtime artistic interests.  Few of my geo-friends would know that I was in gifted arts programs in

K-12, including music, sculpture, and now photography.  I feel as though I have returned to where I really belong.
