Why is there a House in my Park?

I volunteer at Eldorado Canyon State Park, near Boulder, Colorado. It used to be a resort, but was purchased by the State in the 1970’s. It is a rock climbing destination extraordinaire. But why is there a house in my Park? well, private parcels had been sold off in the old Resort days, and that property was not included in the original sale to the state. So, there are people (not just the owner of the obnoxious red house) who live back there. It causes some problems when the very popular park is over full, and they are allowed through passage while park patrons await entry.....
